PROJECT
3 Parish Hall Windows(Leaded windows with etching and sandblasting. )
"On the advice of our architect, Murray Ross, the donor contacted Sarah Hall to create a window, which in all respects would be throughtly modern yet express traditional Celtic art forms and imagery. The Kirk Session and I, as Minister, entered fully into this adventure to recieve and dedicate such a work of art.
Sarah Hall is not only an artist skilled in the demanding medium of stained glass, but has the patience and perception of a pastor. She listened carefully and insightfully as several people spoke to her narrating events of significance in the life of the one to be memorialized.
The window is now installed and was dedicated in joy and due solemnity. The apparent beauty of the windows provides a form for those of us privileged to be included in the creative process. Beyond the compelling, light-filled array of the windows, there is deep pleasure, and a pleasure that renews itself every time we look upon the windows.
Sarah Hall saw our needs and met them through her unique and personal way. I feel every confidence she can take you on an adventure of discovery that culminates in something meaningful, beautiful and lasting."
