PROJECT
14 Windows, Mary Chapel(Air-brushed and hand painted windows with etching. )
"As chairman of the interior design team, I and the other members of the team had a wonderful experience working with Sarah Hall in developing the concept for our day chapel. We were set on a Marian theme for this particular project and discussed with her some concepts based on the spirituality of our community. We provided Sarah with a copy of the book Mary's Flowers by Sr. Jean Frisk, as a resource.
Some time later Sarah met with us to share her ideas for the 14 windows of the chapel. She proposed incorporating the flower theme form the book Mary's Flowers into the nine clerestory windows that encircle the chapel at the ceiling level. Behind the altar would be three blue "Images of Wonder" windows. The two side panels would be based on the Magnificat.
Having watched the construction of the building over these many months, we were in awe at the transformation of the day chapel once Sarah's windows were installed. To this day people still stop by the chapel after our Sunday services to just stand and look.
The chapel has become a very pleasant place for people to pray and be at peace."
