"Recollection Series" Exhibition
(Screen-painted images on handmade white opal glass.)

"The Recollection Series is composed of panels of white opal glass screened with successive, melded plans and elevations of architectural archetypes from Stonehenge and Satiago de Compostela to Mies van der Rohe and beyond, flanked at the left and right by screened images of Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaton as visionary and sage. The images are symbolic of spiritual and intellectual quest expressed through architectural form, and of the historic polar tension between straight line and curve and conceptual idioms of Classicism and Romanticism. The panels, evocative of a universal geometry, blend beautifully with the three-dimensional geometry of the OAA building itself"
