Welcome to the Sarah Hall Studio web site. Since establishing my studio in Toronto in 1980 I have specialized in art glass installations. My work has been commissioned by embassies, synagogues, multi–faith chapels, churches, and public buildings such as hospitals, schools and libraries throughout North America and internationally.
Portfolio
My new work, supported by a Chalmers Arts Fellowship, includes the integration of art glass with photovoltaics (solar energy cells). You can see examples of this in the Solar Decathlon window for Washington, DC and in the wind tower at Regent College, UBC in Vancouver. Other work can be seen on the photovoltaic glass page. These are the first installations of their kind in North America – a bold innovation in architectural glass for the 21st Century.
I hope you will enjoy the many stained glass projects featured here. Please take this opportunity to look at some of my work on the Art Gallery and Portfolio pages. You can also learn more about the fabrication and commissioning process in Vision to Reality.
